Winter Park seeks input for Hideaway Junction development
The town of Winter Park is moving forward with the next phase of the Hideaway Junction development, and is asking residence for their input. The town is holding a public open house on April 17 to gather opinions from the community, and determine the most important needs and wants for the area.
Hideaway Junction, located at the corner of Lion’s Gate Drive and King’s Crossing Road, currently maintains 10 two and three bedroom single-family residences reserved for the Winter Park workforce. The units are deed restricted to maintain affordability, and all are currently occupied.
The second phase of the project will include about 40 new single-family homes, also intended for workforce housing.
The public meeting will start at 6 p.m. at the Winter Park Town Hall. Refreshments will be served.
