Wolford Mountain Reservoir Fishing Contest a great success

To the Editor:

The 6th annual Wolford Mountain Reservoir Open Water Fishing Contest on June 6 was again successful thanks to many local businesses and individuals.

Fishermen raved about the quality of door prizes – over $2,000 in total value. These prizes were donated by Subway, Shake ‘N Burger, Allington Inn, All American Awards, Fling Construction, Kremmling Chamber of Commerce, Quarter Circle Saloon, Short Stop, Colorado River District, Fishin’ Hole, Red Mountain RV Park, and Wolford Campground. Thank you so much to all of you.

The winners 1st through 5th places were: Luke Hackenberg of Lakewood, Jason Wagner of Arvada, Jim Mahon of Kremmling, Ben Shamers of Englewood, and Jack Herrera of Arvada. The children’s 1st through 5th place winners were: Robert Pacheco of Leadville, Jeremy Roach of Evergreen, Caleb Martinez of Lakewood, Arianna Smith of Federal Heights, and Alisa Espinoza of Federal Heights.
