Youth hunting opportunities available in Grand County

The Middle Park Habitat Partnership Program (MPHPP) will be sponsoring youth hunting for coordinated hunts on private property during elk season.

There will be no charge for these hunts. Hunters between the ages of 12 and 17, as well as anyone interested in becoming a youth mentor, are invited to participate. All those interested must possess a Hunter Education Card.

Most hunts will take place during the late cow season from Nov. 26 though Dec. 4.

Also, if you are a landowner interested in partnering with MPHPP and allow youth hunting on your property please contact us. For western Grand County call Ted at 724-3267 and for eastern Grand county contact Tyson at 887-0986.
