Youth Hunting Opportunities in Grand County

Again this year, the Middle Park Habitat Partnership Program will be sponsoring youth mentoring hunts on private land. Most hunts will take place during the late cow elk season from Nov. 27 to Dec. 5. Youth between the ages of 12 and 17 interested in hunting are encouraged to participate. There is no charge for this but the youth must have completed a hunters safety course.

Any adults interested in helping mentor the youth are also encouraged to contact us. If you are a landowner and would allow us to take youth hunting on your property please let us know. For more information or to reserve a hunting spot please call Ted at 970-724-3267 for western Grand County or Tyson at 970-887-0986 for eastern Grand County.
