Cathy Walton-Smith: New president has us all ready for better days

Cathy Walton-SmithView from the LakeGrand Lake, Colorado

As I sit here writing these few words, history unfolds before all Americans. The leader of the free world passed that title on to his successor and a new day dawns. With bad news constantly pouring out of the media, its good to take a day and step away from that. All of America seems to beturning a corner, and starting again with new hope and enthusiasm for a better day tomorrow. Our new president, Barack Obama, has a full agenda. But, he also has the full support of the people and the media. When the news is reported with less doom and gloom and set to a positive spin, things will look brighter. Once they look brighter, they will be brighter and our economy will be on the way to recovery. Its a new day. Hope and enthusiasm are in the air. We are a part of history unfolding before our eyes. God bless America. This just in from the Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
