It’s official. Kremmling Memorial Hospital has joined the social network movement with the launch of the information Web site for the Middle Park Medical Center project.

As of today, will be the center for information regarding the progress of the new medical center to be built in Granby. An explanation of the mission and goals, proposed services, a question and answer page, as well as land and building development updates, will be the foundation of content in the site. People can even sign up to be updated via e-mail as information becomes available, but that’s just the beginning.

Options for Twitter, facebook, YouTube, Google Blog, LinkedIn and Flicker will provide convenient and multifaceted communications options for people who want to keep abreast of medical center news via their computers and PDAs.

Sign up to be ‘tweeted’ on Twitter and receive a brief answer to the question, “What are you doing?” Jump on YouTube to see a short video showcasing the land where the medical center is to be built. Click on the Flickr link to view a catalog of pictures as they are posted. Finally, questions can be submitted and discussions conducted on the blog feed.

“Traditional options for getting information such as the newspaper and radio are still very important parts of the communications matrix,” says graphic designer Nathan Munsinger. “These days so many people rely on their PDAs or computers to get even more specific information on a certain topic. We’ve designed with the tools for people to dig in deeper if they are interested.”
