Eric Murray: Specialty Docs are Medical All-Star Team

Eric Murray
Voice of Your Hospital

Kremmling Memorial Hospital will continue to host an all-star line-up of specialty physicians as fans (patients) seek medical experts to fix what’s ailing them. Fans cheer as the region’s best make themselves available to locals. “Why drive there when they will come here!”

Doctor Paul Voegeli is returning for his 31st season. “Foot health is the foundation of total health”, is Dr. Voegeli’s pre-game mantra. Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr. Voegeli is a true local healthcare legend in foot and ankle health.

Urologists, Rick Brothers, Jim Haden and Stacy Childs fly from Steamboat Springs, land at the airport in Kremmling and see patients at the specialty clinic for urinary and reproductive system issues. They rotate to create frequent availability and care here while running their practice in Steamboat Springs.

Dr. Michael Tralla has Grand County covered for Ear, Nose and Throat surgical management and treatment. His home office is in Wheatridge, but he frequented the Colorado High Country for twenty years with an office in Frisco. Dr. Tralla has had brushes of fame for his work including a mention of gratitude for a successful throat operation in a book authored by a famous Hell’s Angel member.

From the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center comes general surgeon Edward Medina. Like most hot-shot general surgeons, Medina has a long record of successful surgeries and procedures. He covers services such as breast biopsy, vasectomy, gall bladder removal, thyroidectomy, skin cancer, skin and soft tissue surgery and more. A personal appointment with this specialist can save your life.

Other all star team members include Dr. McCaulley, Internal Medicine with years of practice in Kremmling. Dr. Shaw works out the kinks as the team’s Chiropractor, while Dr. Bomberg and Dr. Sarin mend and operate broken bones. Dr. Lindquist, Pulmonology, takes care of breathing problems and often hands off to David Solawetz, Cardio and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Manager. Dr. Smith is the Cardiologist and Dr. Summers is the OBGYN. The team is complete with complete physical, speech and occupational therapy to recuperate and prepare patients after the procedure or treatment.

With an all-star specialty team like this Grand County can be confident and sure they will get the best care available. Add recovery and rehabilitation services and the team is complete.

Who will win the Most Valuable Player in this team? The answer is whichever physician helps you to live your life to its fullest.
