Letter to the editor: You must be genuine to get my vote

With Election Day coming up it’s important to make the right decision regarding who you choose to vote for. Many will choose to vote for their favorite candidate due to their belief system, etc.

One of the hardest things is to no longer support a candidate based on how they represent themselves. For me, I’ve chosen to remove myself from supporting any candidate here in the county due to how I believe they conduct themselves behind closed doors.

I feel like candidates display a fake persona that eventually will catch up with them. When one conducts themself in a false light, consequences follow, and that means a loss of support from those who once supported them.

If you can’t be genuine, you’ll never have my vote.
