Letter: EAA Chapter 1267 wants to thank the community

Local EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) Chapter 1267, based in Granby, would like to thank all the Grand County business owners who supported our annual fly-in pancake breakfast and open house fundraiser. With the additional support of the people of Grand County, and others from out of the local area, we not only served up over 900 breakfast platters, we were able to generate additional funds from our silent auction.

The huge success of our program on July 6 will allow Chapter 1267 to continue to send local young people to the EAA Air Academy in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and support local college students in aviation programs. Once again, a huge thank you to all who supported and attended our fly-in pancake breakfast!

Bill Cowgill,
President of EAA Chapter 1267
