Back in 2008, some conservatives worried about presidential candidate Barack Obama whose most formative years were spent in Third World Indonesia and later years were spent living among a decidedly left-wing family on an island separated from the U.S. mainland by 2,467 miles of ocean. Others ask how someone could be elected president of the Harvard Law Review without ever having published an article about the law?

No doubt, many of us who marched for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the 1960s are now disappointed that a person of color has become, for whatever reasons, an even less-respected world figure than the lily white Jimmy Carter. Now, after 6.5 years of Obamaian behavior, the questions buzzing among conservatives on the Internet are these: Is the chaos in U.S. foreign and domestic policy the result of a president too small for the job or is this chaos something intended all along by President Obama and his closest adviser, the Iranian-born, Valerie Jarrett?

Either way, Obama seems determined to convert the United States into an open-border, European-style socialist state. And, pray tell, why not? He was elected twice, with his socialist world-view clearly spelled out in two autobiographies that the major media either never read or still chooses to ignore.

In a recent speech in Austin, Texas, Obama made reference to himself 199 times — every 12 seconds. Dr. Sam Vaknin, the author of “Malignant Self Love,” thinks the president suffers from narcissistic personality disorder (NPD). Here is the Wikipedia definition of NPD:

“People with these disorders have intense, unstable emotions and a distorted self-image. Narcissistic personality disorder is further characterized by an abnormal love of self, an exaggerated sense of superiority and self-importance … The attitudes conceal a deep sense of insecurity and a fragile self-esteem. People with narcissistic personality disorders also often have a complete lack of empathy for others.”

By refusing to view the human suffering on our southern border, is President Obama displaying a complete lack of empathy for others? Or, is he simply trying to put some political distance between himself and the illegal immigration chaos for which his policies are largely responsible? We observe. You decide.
