Reader-submitted paintings: Winter is more than white at Snow Mountain Ranch

Karen Fletcher, a fine art painter in Tabernash, took photos around Grand County and transformed them into paintings. This painting, "The Trail Beckons," is of sunshine on Blue Ridge heading toward the waterfall at Snow Mountain Ranch. “Nordic Heaven,” taken on 10 Mile Loop at Snow Mountain Ranch Nordic Center. Fletcher’s work was chosen as one of the art installations along the 2022 Winter Park Art Trail. Her work is on display until summer 2023 at the Winter Park Information Center across from Hideaway Park in downtown Winter Park.
