A free Energy Conservation Workshop will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at Osteria Giocondo in Winter Park, next to Volario’s.

Sustainable Grand, Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa and Xcel Partners in Energy are partnering to share simple, practical ways to make homes more energy efficient without breaking the bank.

The workshop will cover zero-cost energy-saving tips participants can begin using immediately, affordable do-it-yourself solutions — including draft blockers for less than $20 — and energy-saving gadgets and tools. The event also will feature practical home energy advice, interactive activities and a fun energy quiz with prizes.
Complimentary wine and appetizers will be provided.
The workshop is designed for people seeking easy changes they can make at home, as well as those interested in learning more about improving their home’s energy efficiency. Attendees will leave with practical ideas they can take home and put to use.
Advance registration is available at https://mailchi.mp/sustainablegrand/energy-conservation-workshop.
