I am currently the Editor for Sky-Hi News in Grand County, Colorado, leading a small but mighty team of journalists serving the county’s mountain communities. Before returning home to the West, I was the Senior AME for visual journalism and news product design at The Boston Globe, where I evolved the visual team into a full Multimedia department overseeing all rich media publishing, from Sports to Spotlight projects.

My previous leadership roles include serving as Chief Content Officer at Connecticut Public Broadcasting, overseeing radio, television, and digital platforms, and as Director of Photography at ESPN. While at ESPN, the magazine earned General Excellence and Best Sports Cover honors from the American Society of Magazine Editors in 2017.

Earlier, I spent nearly a decade as the Assistant Managing Editor for Photography and Multimedia at The Denver Post. Under my leadership, the staff earned three Pulitzers and six National Edward R. Murrow Awards, including Overall Excellence. I also established the Post’s video journalism program, which became a finalist for a National Emmy in Current News Coverage.

My career began with leadership roles at the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and the Free Lance-Star in Virginia, where I specialized in digital transitions and staff management. I also spent nearly a decade as a New York-based freelancer with Sygma Photo News, producing work for The New York Times Magazine, Newsweek, and Time Japan, including a commissioned series on the Ethiopian civil war. I began my journey in journalism at The Herald Journal in Logan, Utah, and the Wood River Journal in Haily Idaho.
