Naked Aspen Designs donates to local nonprofits

Special to the Sky-Hi News

Support one of your favorite local nonprofit organizations up to Dec. 24 just by shopping for that special gift.

Rob Peeters, owner of Naked Aspen Designs in the Fraser Shopping Center, will give 5 percent (up to $5) of each purchase to your choice of the following local nonprofits: Grand County Blues Society, Grand County Historical Association, Grand County Pet Pals, Grand County Search and Rescue, Headwaters Trails Alliance and Shining Stars Foundation.

The shop features several Colorado artisans and craftsman (including Peeters), with items as varied as pottery, framed art, jewelry and jewelry boxes, soap and candles as well uniquely crafted decor items and custom furniture pieces.

Donations will be made after shoppers turn in their receipts at the store marked with the nonprofit of their choice by Dec. 28.
