CBI opens suspicious death investigation in Kremmling

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has initiated a suspicious death investigation in Kremmling, Colorado, and is working collaboratively with the Kremmling Police Department and the Grand County Coroner, it stated in a Nov. 3 press release.
The investigation began after the body of a male in his 20s was discovered around noon on Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, in the 300 block of South 6th Street in Kremmling.
Authorities believe this appears to be an isolated incident, and they emphasize that there is no current threat to the public related to this discovery. The official identification of the deceased and the cause and manner of death are pending the completion of an autopsy.
According to the statement, the CBI, Kremmling Police Department and Grand County Coroner will release additional information as it is developed through the course of the investigation.
