Colorado Adventure Park, Grand County’s largest tubing hill, is bringing the thrill of tubing to summer with the launch of two brand-new summer lanes and a new lift. To celebrate, locals and visitors are invited to a free opening weekend from Saturday, Aug. 9 through Monday, Aug. 11, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
“Powered by industry-leading, dry-slope technology from Skitrax, these synthetic tracks are
engineered for smooth, high-speed runs and safe, family-friendly fun,” Colorado Adventure Park stated in an Aug. 8 press release. “It’s the same hill you know from winter — just sunnier.”
Starting the following weekend on Aug. 15, summer tubing opens to the public Friday through
Monday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.. The cost will be $35 per hour. Tubing is for ages six and up. Closed-toe footwear is required.
Colorado Adventure Park is located at 566 County Road 721 in Fraser. For more information, visit ColoradoAdventurePark.com.
