A snowstorm storm is expected to hit Colorado Sunday into Monday, bringing more snow and gusty winds plus cold temperatures.
The natural snow and decreased temperatures with these storms are expected to produce good snowmaking weather as ski areas across Summit County make progress toward opening for the 2025-26 ski season as soon as conditions allow.
The storm comes on the heels of a storm that dusted Summit County and surrounding area with an inch of snow in valleys and around 4 inches at some resorts, causing some traffic disruptions on Monday.
