Fatal Berthoud Pass car crash remains under investigation
A fatal car crash that killed a husband and wife on Berthoud Pass is still under investigation, according to Colorado State Patrol.
Ronald and Judy Servis, both 75 years old, died as a result of the April 19 collision. Ronald was pronounced dead on the scene and Judy died April 20.
The other driver involved in the collision, who was driving a Toyota Highlander, was hospitalized but has since been released. Their name has not been made public by officials and no charges have been filed, yet.
The case remains under investigation and there is no estimated completion date, Jake Hanson stated, who is a representative with Colorado State Patrol.
Although Ronald and Judy were not full-time residents of Grand County, they were very active community members, especially with the local American Legion.
