A soft opening of the Fraser bike park is slated for 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16 with a full public opening on Oct. 17. The park, which began construction in July, was expected to cost around $1 million.

On Thursday, the Fraser Board of Trustees and bike park construction partners will gather at the space alongside U.S. Highway 40 in the Cozens Ranch Open Space. The jump lines and pump track will open to the public after the Thursday ceremony, and full bike park use will be publicly available the following day.

The much bigger celebration and grand opening is set for late Spring 2026, according to Fraser Assistant Town Manager Sarah Catanzarite.

Since fall of 2023, Fraser has been working with American Ramp Company to design the park. Partners in the project include Headwaters Trails Alliance, Fraser Valley Metropolitan Recreation District, Fraser Valley Mountain Bike Alliance, Trestle Bike Park and Skinny Traffic Trails.
