Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce executive director resigns

Kelly Kirkpatrick resigned from her position as Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce executive director as of June 12. A press release email from the chamber reads that the board of directors has been working with staff to continue the chamber’s summer operations.
The chamber works to promote the Grand Lake community’s economic and cultural assets. They support local businesses and work to enhance visitor’s experiences by offering information to visitors, organizing events and more.
The email announcing Kirkpatrick’s departure states that the board is working to develop a long term plan to better understand the wants and needs from the chamber. This information will help the chamber better understand how to fill the leadership role, it states.
Patrick Randall, president of the board, said that anyone is free to provide input to the chamber by sending their thoughts to board@grandlakechamber.com.
