Grand Lake Fire offers outdoor recreation courses

Grand Lake Fire is offering a free outdoor recreation safety course with two dates available. The first course takes place July 12 at 6 p.m. and the second course takes place July 13 at 9 a.m., both will take place at Grand Lake Fire, 201 W Portal Road.
The one-hour course will teach you essential tips for staying safe while enjoying the outdoors and is for all skill levels. The session will include first aid, wildlife awareness, weather preparedness and navigation.
