Granby — Middle Park High School freshman and Girl Scout Hannah Gould compiled her delicious recipes in a cookbook to share with visitors at the Mountain Family Center food pantries.

Hannah spent several months creating her “From Pantry to Plate” cookbook for the nonprofit to share. She also provided measuring cups which had a QR code that allowed people to download the book. Staff distributed the cookbooks at the Granby and Kremmling pantries.

The cookbook is designed to be accessible using simple ingredients and items commonly available at food pantries. Each recipe appears in English and Spanish.

Mountain Family Center thanked Hannah for creating the project, which helps community members prepare meals at home after visiting a food pantry.

Hannah earned the Girl Scout Silver Award for the project. She is a member of Troop 55319. The full cookbook, featuring recipes from entrees to desserts, is available at: Bit.Ly/3VCLUtX.

Mountain Family Center distributed Hannah Gould’s cookbooks and measuring cups at its food pantries during the summer and fall of 2026.
