As part of a community effort to digitize Grand County’s historic newspapers, nearly 1,300 new editions have been added to the publicly available archive:
- The Kremmling Record editions from Dec. 31, 1931, to Dec. 25, 1935
- Grand County News editions from Jan. 3 to Dec. 25, 1940
- Sky-Hi News editions from Nov. 1, 1945, to Nov. 10, 1950, and from Feb. 28, 1985, to Aug. 25, 1999
The editions from the 1930s to 1950s — the oldest in the Sky-Hi News collection — were digitizing using a $5,000 grant from Friends of Grand County Library. The editions from the ’80s and ’90s were digitizing by the Grand County Library District.
The ongoing digitization project is being supported by a variety of funders, including individual donations from readers. Learn more about the archive project and make a donation at SkyHiNews.com/donate.
