Members of the teBockhorst Family came to Grand Lake’s Cottage Court History Park to celebrate Joe teBockhorst’s life with installation of a park bench in his memory. Joe was a valued son, brother, husband, father and uncle who loved Grand Lake, for both its serene landscapes and the fun times he had while here.

The Grand Lake Area Historical Society has recently completed the History Park at 725 Lake Avenue, off Vine Street, and welcomes visitors who want to picnic, or just enjoy this peaceful setting. It’s free to use but is also available for those who want to rent it for special events; more  information is available at https://forms.gle/o1T2CqsZPG4MdzXq6
