This past week my husband and I were hit by a very large deer five miles east of Granby, while driving back to Denver from Grand Lake.

We want to thank the many people who went above and beyond to help us that day, from the man right in back of us on the highway who gave us a ride to town, the manager of Mountain Town Tire & Lube who let us make phone calls, the tow truck driver who came very promptly, the policeman who put us at ease while questioning us, and the owners of Rocky Mountain Collision who went out of their way to help us get on the Amtrack train back to Denver.

You are a beautiful county full of wonderful, generous people and we are very grateful.
