Middle Park 4-H and Grand County were represented Jan. 23 at the Leadership Development Conference (LDC) in Denver by Abbie Halley and Madison DeCicco. This year the theme was “4-H Olympics 2016, Passing on the Torch”. Participants learned how to pass on the torch to other 4-H members and how to get people more involved. LDC is for senior 4-H members ages 14-18 and is held annually in January. The LDC conference is a fun, educational weekend promoting leadership development and community service. This conference is in conjunction with the annual “4-H Day at the Capitol” where members are present during the Proclamation for Colorado 4-H Day.
