The family of Bill Fisher sincerely and wholeheartedly thanks the residents of Grand County for their out pouring of love and support at the passing of Bill in January.
Bill had been a member /team leader of the Winter Park Ski Patrol for approximately 18 seasons. It is Providential that he collapsed and died on his favorite slope at Winter Park: “Little Pierre”.
For almost three decades Bill was the “Head Wrangler” at the C Lazy U Guest Ranch, managing a herd of 180 horses and generations of guest riders.
We, his family, eagerly await to join him in his new Eternal Home. Bill leaves behind his wife, Emily, daughters Colby (Mitch Dailey) and Maggie (Darryn Wiebe), grandchildren Leo, Nora, William “Gage”, Evelyn, Noelle and Jack; Bill’s siblings Nancy (Larry Wilhelms) and John (Joan) Fisher; nieces, nephews and extended family.
Bill requested that there not be a formal Memorial Service for him, however, we shall forever hold him in our hearts as the most kind, solid, stalwart and loving man who was gifted to us for seventy-eight years.
