August 2, 1954 – November 25, 2025

Laurie (Volz) Mosier, age 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 25th, 2025 at her home in Scottsdale, Arizona after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was surrounded by family and friends. Laurie was born to Charles & Laura Volz on August 2nd, 1954 in Mitchell, South Dakota. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Mosier, sister Charlene (Volz) Weidenaar, and brothers Jim (Ann) Volz, Rick (Dee) Volz, and Larry (Nora) Volz, plus many loving nieces and nephews. Laurie was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Ronald Volz, Sister Gayle Volz, Mary Lynn (Volz) Geidel, Jean (Volz) Mohr, and Joyce (Volz) Hartington.
Laurie met her husband Jerry in Kansas City in October, 1980 and was later married in June, 1981. They were together for 45 wonderful years. Shortly after being married, they moved to Denver, Colorado where Laurie worked for ITT. In 1991 they relocated to Winter Park, Colorado where they owned their own business and Laurie began a new career in real estate and property management. In 2000, they moved back to Denver where Laurie continued her real estate career and obtained her Colorado Real Estate and Real Property Administrator licenses. In 2011, Laurie and Jerry relocated and eventually retired in Scottsdale, Arizona. Laurie’s career in real-estate spanned more than 30 years.
A celebration of life has yet to be planned. She asked that any donations be made to Mayo Clinic Cancer Research or to your local animal rescue shelter in her name. May Laurie rest in peace and may God bless her soul. A full obituary can be found on Legacy.com
