Robert Berard, 83, passed away April 14th, 2024 at his home with his family by his side.
Robert was born on December 5, 1940, in Thorhild, Alberta, Canada, from the union of Alfred and Agnes Berard. He spent his childhood in Thorhild, moved around Canada, and settled in Tabernash, Colorado. He married Josie Gray in October of 1970 in Denver, Colorado.
Robert was a Canadian Army Veteran and a railroad truckdriver, retiring after 34 years.
Robert leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Josie Berard of Grand Junction, Colorado; 6 children, Sandra Golden of Colorado, Angela Lee of Colorado, Steven Papp of Kentucky, Rob Papp of Colorado, Michelle Killian of Colorado, and Theresa Sprouse of Arizona; 5 siblings, Willy Breard of Oregon, Norman Berard of Canada, Paul Berard of Canada, Shirly (Berard) Baroe of Canda, and Eileen Berard of Canada; 9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Gerald Berard, Raymond Berard, and May (Berard) Koenig.
Private family services will take place at a later date.
