Obituary: Victoria “Vicky” Menhennett

January 2, 1953 – April 7, 2026
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Vicky Menhennett who left this world on April 7, 2026 at the age of 73. Vicky was born in Pueblo, Colorado, on January 2, 1953, to Sosten and Virginia (Maes) Rivale, the fifth child of nine children. She grew up in the southeast corner of Colorado and graduated from Walsh High School, attended college at Trinidad State Junior College and Adams State College.
She taught Special Education in various schools for 35 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Tabor Ann, a brother Art Rivale, and Niece Shannon Rivale. She is survived by her husband, Tom Menhennett of Canon City, seven siblings, Ernie (Eunice) Rivale, J.C. (Sue) Rivale, Belinda Trujillo, Connie (Pat) Mestas, Richard Rivale, Bill (Susan) Rivale, Ron Rivale, sisters-in-law, Ileen Rivale, Linda (John) Gillogley, brothers-in-law, Paul (Debbie) Menhennett, Tim (Tami) Menhennett. Services will be at St. Michael Catholic Church, 1016 Mystic Avenue, Canon City, Colorado on Friday, April 24, 2026, with the Recitation of the Rosary at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral mass at 10:00 a.m.
Inurnment will be on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Riverside Cemetery in Kremmling, Colorado.
