Obituary: Stephanie Dare Sadler
Stephanie Sadler, a resident of the area died suddenly of heart failure Saturday, June 7, while in the ICU in Lutheran Medical Center in Denver. The funeral service was held June 12, 2008 at Rundus Broomfield Funeral Home. Stephanie moved to Fraser in 1997 with her husband Seth as they pursued a design build construction business. She was born in Portsmouth, Va. and attended lower school in Augusta, Ga. and Savannah, Ga., graduating high school from Savannah Christian Preparatory School.Stephanie attended college at Armstrong Atlantic State University majoring in Computer Science. She worked as a software engineer with her family in Savannah and with Home Depot in Atlanta. She and Seth opened a bagel shop (Fraser Valley Bagels) and bookstore (Curiosity Books), fulfilling one of Stephanie’s lifelong dreams. She recently worked for Rendezvous Colorado, LLC and Prudential Winter Park. Stephanie battled different forms of cancer over an 11 year period and is survived by her son Logan Sadler and his father Seth, her parents Dal & Nancy Sumrell, her brother S. David Sumrell, and many loving relatives and friends. There will be a second memorial service Aug. 2 at 9 a.m. at Berthoud Pass giving an opportunity for anyone to share memories of Stephanie.
