Kasey
Kasey is a one-year-old, spayed female, heeler cross. Kasey was surrendered because her owners could no longer keep her. Kasey is an extremely active and smart dog who needs a home where her people can keep her mind busy.

Bear
Bear is a five-year-old female husky and pit bull mix. She is a very smart and affectionate girl, and was surrendered to the shelter for no fault of her own. Bear still has plenty of pep and spirit. She’s a great walker and rarely pulls on the leash.
Bear is extremely motivated by food and easy to train. She learned a lot with her last family as well as the shelter staff. She loves kids and has been known to like other dogs with proper introductions.
This dog enjoys walking and belly rubs. She does get some separation anxiety, and can drool or bark when left alone. However, she is getting more comfortable at the shelter.

Please call the Grand County Animal Shelter at 970-887-2988 to meet Kasey and Bear or learn more about them.
