Winter Park fires up snow guns for 2025-26 season

Winter Park Resort fired up its snow guns on Thursday night to begin making snow for the 2025-26 winter season, as the dropping temperatures created ideal conditions to build a base for opening day.
“We will start rolling chair lifts for skiers and riders as soon as conditions are ready,” the resort stated in an Oct. 17 press release. “Stay tuned to our website for an exact date.”
