As of Wednesday morning, Rocky Mountain National Park remained open with limited services, due to a government shutdown.

The federal government shut down at 12 a.m. on Oct. 1 after a deadlocked Congress failed to reach a deal on funding. Republicans and Democrats remain at odds over enhanced healthcare subsidies, with leaders of both parties blaming at each other.
