Rocky Mountain National Park announced in a news release that trail access to Dream Lake and Emerald Lake will be closed to all uses through late September until early October.

The first closure will be Sept. 29 through Oct. 2. The second will be from Oct. 6 to 9. The closure is for an outlet bridge replacement project. Dream Lake and Emerald Lake will not be accessible during these days.

This popular trail section will reopen from Oct. 3 to 5 before closing again on Oct. 6 for four more days. All other trails in the Bear Lake area will remain open, including the trail to Lake Haiyaha from Nymph Lake.
