After closing due to inclement weather on Oct. 4, Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park is currently open to through travel, as of Wednesday, Oct. 9.

“Due to melting snow on the road and the potential for freezing temperatures visitors should be prepared for icy conditions,” Rocky Mountain National Park stated on its recorded status line on the road. “Because weather conditions may change rapidly, park visitors should be prepared to adjust travel plans accordingly.”
