Adaline Pedersen was recognized as an Intern of the Month at West Grand High School. Pedersen has been working with Flowers By Marcia in Kremmling. Her typical tasks include pricing items and creating arrangements in vases and bouquets.
“During her internship time, Pedersen demonstrated ‘Profile of A Learner’ attributes such as adaptability and knowledgeable, while learning about different types of flowers and how to prepare flower arrangements,” stated Andrew Mericle, West Grand School District college and career coordinator. “The most challenging part of her internship (has been) implementing artistic skills to produce beautiful bouquet arrangements … She is learning many aspects of owning and operating a small business.”
