Firefighters responded to a small wildland fire on County Road 872 on Wednesday afternoon at the top of Red Dirt Hill. Granby, East Grand, Grand Lake and Hot Sulphur Springs fire departments responded with equipment and personnel to bring the blaze under control.

Most of Grand County is under a red flag warning this afternoon, which means the area can expect high winds and low relative humidity until 6 p.m. today.
