A free outdoor concert featuring Mat Kearney will headline Memorial Day Weekend festivities in Winter Park as part of the “Summer Starts Sooner” celebration on Saturday, May 23, according to a press release from the Winter Park Fraser Chamber of Commerce.

Held at the Rendezvous Event Center from 4:30 to 8 p.m., Matt Kearney will headline the event, which will also include a performance by Rob Drabkin. Alongside the music, there will be family-friendly activities like a mechanical bull, bounce house and lawn games. No ticket is needed to enter the event.

Organized by the chamber, the free, walkable event aims to kick off the summer season while supporting local businesses across Winter Park and Fraser, according to the release.

The celebration coincides with early summer operations at Winter Park Resort, including the opening of Trestle Bike Park and the Alpine Slide. The weekend also marks the start of a broader lineup of seasonal events throughout the Fraser Valley.
