Winter Park Resort has received half a foot of snow in the last 24 hours, and it looks like more could be on the way.

Just this week, the mountain has seen 15 inches. Winter Park is reporting over 4 feet of snow in January so far. The resort’s snowpack compared to the 30-year average is at 115%.

According to meteorologist Joel Gratz, the fresh snow should be light and fluffy thanks to cool temperatures. Gratz predicts more snow overnight Thursday.

Friday should offer a break from the snowfall, but more snow is expected to come overnight, so Saturday skiers will see a few fresh inches, Gratz said.

Almost all of Winter Park is open with 157 of 166 trails now available.
