Australian mogul skier Jackson Harvey, who grew up and trained in Winter Park, Colorado, placed eighth in the finals of the men’s mogul competition at the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics.
After placing 23rd in the first qualifying round, Harvey regrouped in the second qualifier this morning in Lavigno, Italy, taking 15th. That was good enough to get him into the first round of finals where he placed eighth, earning him a spot in the second and last round in which the top eight skiers faced off for the podium.
In his ultimate run, Harvey stayed in eighth, just one spot behind the lone American in the closing round, Nick Page, who took seventh.
The top spot went to fellow Australian and surprise winner Cooper Woods who improved his score in every round to earn gold. Canadian veteran Mikael Kingsbury landed in second for the third time in four Olympics. The longstanding mogul icon won gold in at the 2018 Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea, and silvers at Sochi, Russia in 2014 and Beijing in 2022. Event favorite Ikuma Horishima earned the bronze.
The other Americans who finished out in the contest included Charlie Mickel in 12th, Dylan Walczyk in 13th and Landon Wendler in 17th.
