Hello, my name is Rebecca Quesada. I was born and raised in Colorado and have resided in Grand County for 25 years, with most of that time spent in Granby. I am the proud mother of three wonderful children who have been raised in Granby.

I have been working in the hospitality industry since 2000 and currently serve as the director of rooms at the historic C Lazy U Ranch. In my free time, I enjoy supporting our local community in all aspects. I have a great appreciation for our beautiful backyard and find great recreational enjoyment on our lakes, reservoirs and hiking our own mountain peaks.

In 2020, I was honored to be elected as a town trustee. This role has been incredibly fulfilling, and I have cherished every moment of serving as one of the town’s elected officials. I currently serve on the administration committee and the public safety committee.

Additionally, I stay actively involved with the Colorado Municipal League and its educational opportunities to ensure I am fulfilling my responsibilities to our community.

I am seeking reelection to continue the important work we have started, such as our affordable housing projects and finding financial solutions for our residents to save our aging north service water plant.

Over the past four years, I have gained valuable experience and developed a deep passion for various aspects and issues our town faces. If reelected, my primary focus with this new term will be on mental health, public safety awareness and infrastructure.

Our town is no longer the quiet community it once was. With our rapidly expanding population, it is crucial that we have the necessary services in place to support our residents. Many in our community struggle with mental health issues daily, and I aim to partner with the county to find effective solutions for those in need.

Our police department is exceptional, but the demand for its services has increased significantly. We must ensure we have an adequate budget to hire enough officers to manage traffic and other daily responsibilities and emergencies.

Lastly, it is essential to focus on maintaining and improving our infrastructure to best serve our growing population.
