Bear and cub spotted near East Grand schools
On Tuesday, a bear and cub were spotted in tree near Garnet Avenue, next to East Grand School District’s three schools: Granby Elementary, East Grand Middle School and Middle Park High School.
An email by East Grand School District asked parents and guardians to review their child’s dismissal and pick-up plans, and contact their child’s school office if alternate arrangements were needed.
The Granby Police Department and Colorado Parks and Wildlife were aware of and actively monitoring the situation.
