Kari Cornett, August 1967 – May 2008

Kari Cornett, while sleeping, passed away at the home of her long time companion earlier this year in Big Pine Key, Fla.
Kari graduated from Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins and attended Fort Lewis College in Durango. Her zest for beautiful places, good music and lively people led her to pursue resort work in such scenic spots as Steamboat Springs, Old Forge, N.Y., and Marathon/Big Pine Key in Florida. Kari constantly expressed her appreciation for the kind people and natural wonders she experienced along the way. Her youthful charm, sympathy for others, kindness to animals and beaming smile opened the window to her generous heart.
Those celebrating her life are; father, Lloyd Cornett, and Pamela Cornett of Granby, her mother Michelle Dillon of Fort Collins, her brother Keith Cornett of Greeley, her cousins Gretchen and Eric Gentry, Rick Gentry and Ann Gentry and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Contributions may be made in Kari’s memory to The American Cancer Society.
