Kremmling town manager resigns
The Kremmling Board of Trustees accepted the resignation of Town Manager Ashley Macdonald during its meeting Dec. 3. Her last day will be Dec. 29.
Macdonald was hired in 2022, following the resignation of former town manager Dan Stoltman. She’s leaving after she accepted a role as city clerk for the city of Loveland, where she was raised.
Macdonald said the town board is working to ensure the transition to a new manager is as smooth as possible with no disruptions to community services.
According to the news release, town staff members are beginning the initial search for the next town manager and might work with the Colorado Department of Public Affairs to assist in the recruitment process.
“This journey had its challenges, but my team handled them with great skill and professionalism,” Macdonald stated in a press release. “I feel privileged to see them grow into the excellent public administration professionals they are now. They are my greatest achievement and should be seen as Kremmling’s most valuable asset.”
