I would like to invite the community to the Oct. 13 board of trustees meeting in Grand Lake. There is a workshop at 4:30 p.m. and a meeting at 6 p.m. We are putting together a petition to oppose the licensing of food trucks in Grand Lake. This action would decimate several of our businesses and hurt employees should it come to pass.

We struggle as it is to make our money in the summer without having outside vendors take away our revenue. Businesses will be short on funds to survive the winter, employees will end up with reduced hours and unable to make ends meet.

If all goes well on our part we hope to have at least a hundred people in attendance. Petitions are available at Jumpstart Coffee and Tea, Grand Pizza, Charlie’s Bar & Grill and White Buffalo Pizza and Pub Company.
