Lipke places in National Bible Bee

Logan Lipke was selected as a winner in a Sonatina Festival for piano students in Denver on Saturday, March 19. The competition was an event put on by the Foothills Music Teachers Association and held at Colorado Christian University. Logan performed in the Honors Recital on Sunday. Logan is the son of Jeff and Molly Lipke of Granby and the piano student of LaVoon Cooper of Granby.

Logan Lipke, age 8, son of Jeff and Molly Lipke of Tabernash, competed in the Denver local National Bible Bee competition on Aug 25, 2012 at Waterstone Community Church in Littleton, CO. Logan placed second in his age division (under 11) and was among the top 100 nationwide which qualified him to compete at the National Bible Bee competition in Seviersville TN in November. This will be the 4th annual National Bible Bee competition, with over 7000 children competing in local bees this year and the top 100 in each of 3 age groups invitied to the national competition in TN, with over $260,000 in cash and prizes to be awarded.
