Mitchell Lewis of Rocky Mountain Rep wins Henry Award for ‘Jersey Boys’
The actor also stars in the Grand Lake theater's productions this August

Rocky Mountain Repetory Theatre in Grand Lake is celebrating the talent of performer Mitchell Lewis. On July 24, Lewis won the Colorado Theatre Guild’s Henry Award as Lead Actor in a Musical, Tier 1, for “Jersey Boys.”
The theatre’s production of the Broadway hit “Jersey Boys” took place in 2022. A newcomer on the scene at the time, Lewis played Frankie Valli, who went from the streets of New Jersey to become a rock and roll sensation.
Fans still have a chance to see Lewis on the Rocky Mountain Rep stage this summer. Lewis plays the lead, Frederic the pirate, in “Pirates of Penzance” from now until Aug. 25. He also plays Barry Mann in “Beautiful: the Carole King Musical” from now until Aug. 26.
