Troublesome Fest is returning to the shores of Grand Lake for its third year, to celebrate the mission of wildfire education, recovery and mitigation. Mountain Parks Electric has supported this mission by recently donating to Fire of the Mountain, which organizes the festival.

“Troublesome Fest is a musical festival that began as a spark of passion by a group of Grand Lake locals in response to the devastating East Troublesome Fire that ripped through the community in October 2020,” Mountain Parks wrote in a release about the donation. “This festival is a celebration of the strength and resiliency of this beautiful place and the amazing people who live here.”

This year’s fest will take place on Sept. 9, with gates opening at 11 a.m. and music from noon until 10 p.m. To purchase tickets, sign up to volunteer, or for more information, visit TroublesomeFest.com.

Mountain Parks Electric awards funds to support the community through donation requests. Requests are considered three times a year. Funds are limited and are provided by their unclaimed capital credits fund.
