Paving operations begin in Byers Canyon
The Colorado Department of Transportation began paving operations in Byers Canyon in Hot Sulphur Springs on the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 2. This paving began after CDOT finished its rockfall mitigation operations in late August.
The paving operations will last until Thursday, Sept. 5. Traffic will be reduced to one-lane alternating holds between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day.
